There will be a meet and greet for State Senator Vincent Fort on Thursday, July 15, from 7:30 AM - 9:30 AM at the Starbucks at Peachtree Battle. Senator Fort is running for re-election and has primary opposition. The primary vote is July 20. He has no general election opposition, so Tuesday, July 20, is the final day to vote for Senator Fort.
Senator Fort is serving his sixth term in the Georgia State Senate. He was first elected in 1996 and has been reelected five times since. He serves on the Judiciary, Education, State Properties and Institutions, Appropriations, and Reapportionment Committees. His website is www.vincentfort.com.
